GURA (Geek Remote Access) - Terms & Conditions

By pressing the Submit button you Accept the following:

  1. You are allowing a representative of Geekazoid & Friends, Inc. to connect via a secure internet connection to your current computer. From this point forward this secure internet connection will be referred to as GURA (Geek Ultimate Remote Access).
  2. The purpose of this GURA session is to troubleshoot your current computer issue. A computer issue can be, but is not limited to, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, printing, and/or backup issues/errors.
  3. The charge for this GURA session will be $66/hr billed in 15 minute increments, rounding to the highest 15 minute intervals, based on the time we are connected to your computer to complete the troubleshooting process. Any rounding that is needed, will be rounded to the highest 15 minute increment.
  4. A GURA session cannot begin unless you have accepted these Terms & Conditions and the proper executable file has been chosen.
  5. Geekazoid & Friends, Inc. is not responsible for any loss of data, programs, etc. that may occur through the use of this program or via the troubleshooting process. Geekazoid & Friends, Inc. recommends backing up all vital data prior to beginning the GURA session.
  6. If the GURA session is terminated due to the loss of an internet connection, power outage, etc. A representative of Geekazoid & Friends, Inc. will contact you to reestablish the connection & the charges will be added to the original remote connection session.
  7. During the GURA session you will be able to see everything that the representative of Geekazoid & Friends, Inc. will be completing on your computer. The representative of Geekazoid & Friends, Inc., will also be in constant phone communication with you during this GURA session.
  8. While the representative of Geekazoid & Friends, Inc. is troubleshooting your computer, you will not be able to use the computer. Do not attempt to use the computer until given instruction by the Geekazoid & Friends, Inc. representative. Any interruptions can cause the troubleshooting time to extend or additional charges may apply.
